We invite you to participate in the COE Graduate Student Conference in an effort to promote an inclusive, cross-departmental research forum for graduate students. The overarching purpose of the College of Education Graduate Student Conference is to build a community for education within the college that crosses departmental boundaries, promotes dialogue, and encourages collaboration. The COE Graduate Student Conference seeks to promote inclusiveness, nurture enthusiasm for research, and provide outlets for high quality research.

Call for Proposals ---- Proposals Due Monday, February 22, 2010 by 5pm
Submissions such as term papers/projects, research specialization capstone projects, early research projects, doctoral dissertations, independent research, and other scholarly work are all welcome. Graduate students at all levels of scholarship are encouraged to apply. Proposals may be submitted for individual and/or co-authored papers, symposia, and poster sessions. Other alternative formats are also welcome. Symposia that bring together multiple perspectives on one educational issue are especially welcome.

Call for Reviewers ---- Reviewer Sign-Up closes Monday, February 8, 2010 at 5pm
The Conference Planning Committee is looking for graduate student volunteer reviewers to review proposals for the first annual College of Education Graduate Student Conference (COEGSC). Reviewers and their recommendations are extremely important to the COEGSC Planning Committee for the selection process and contribute to the overall organization and climate of the conference.
